Romanian roots, Roman roads, digital rabbit holes.
I moved to Rome over a decade ago with no connections and zero Italian. I started in hospitality, running the entire digital presence for a luxury hotel in the historic center. From there I rebuilt the brand, launched an SEO travel blog, and rewrote how the property acquired guests online. I took the Booking.com score from 8.7 to 9.4, grew organic traffic by +180%, and pushed direct bookings up +90%. All of it was self-taught, all of it was hands-on, and none of it was outsourced.
Today I am the Chief Marketing Officer of three independent companies inside the Dylog Buffetti Group. Octorate is an all-in-one hospitality SaaS used by hotels and short-term rentals worldwide. Octotable is a restaurant reservation and table-management platform. OK Home is a smart-hospitality platform for self check-in, guest identification, and energy efficiency. Each company has its own product, market, and audience, and each runs its own marketing engine that I lead end to end.
I taught myself to code at 42 Roma Luiss, studied AI and prompt engineering at Luiss Business School, and built a workflow stack that mixes traditional SEO with Python, n8n automations, ChatGPT and Claude pipelines, and custom AI agents. I read, write, and audit my own code. I speak Romanian, English, Italian, and Spanish, and I run multilingual campaigns across all four every week.
There is no spoon. And there is no shortcut. I do the work myself.
